For us it was really an experience in nature; the cottage is really secluded high on a mountainside with a beautiful view of the valley. The owners of the fine and fully equipped cottage live a little further away, but there is plenty of privacy. You have to be agile because it is quite a climb from the covered carport to the cottage. The owners are very nice and helpful, and advantage was also that they are originally from the Netherlands. If you like peace and quiet you have come to the right place; it is quiet and you only hear the birds singing. And at night it is really pitch dark. The immediate vicinity is ideal for long walks, and also for the experienced mountain biker there is challenge enough. Furthermore, the drive to the cottage on the mountain is a challenge at first, but you get used to this pretty quickly. With all further excursions in the vicinity we had a more than excellent time!

Voor ons was het echt een beleving in de de natuur; het huisje staat echt afgelegen hoog op een bergwand met een prachtig uitzicht op het dal. De eigenaren van het fijn en compleet ingerichte huisje wonen iets verderop, maar er is voldoende privacy. Je moet wel goed ter been zijn want het is vanuit de overdekte carport nog een aardige klim naar het huisje. De eigenaren zijn erg aardig en behulpzaam, en voordeel was ook dat ze oorspronkelijk uit Nederland komen. Als je van rust houdt ben je hier op het goede adres; het is er stil en je hoort eigenlijk alleen de vogels fluiten. En s'nachts is het ook werkelijk pikkedonker. De directe omgeving is ideaal voor het maken van lange wandelingen, en ook voor de geoefende mountainbiker is er uitdaging genoeg. Verder is de rit naar het huisje op de berg in het begin een uitdaging, maar dit went vrij snel. Met alle verdere uitstapjes in de omfeving hebven we een meer dan prima tijd gehad !

The contact was uncomplicated, the welcome warm, the location very good for us. You can hike directly from the house. A cozy barbecue area at the house, practically right in the forest, lets you experience nature up close. The path from the parking lot to the house with its 10 meters of altitude is a good exercise :-) Definitely a recommendation. Everything was very clean and functional.

Der Kontakt war unkompliziert, der Empfang herzlich, die Lage für uns sehr gut. Direkt vom Haus kann man wandern. Ein gemütliche Grillplatz am Haus, praktisch direkt im Wald, lässt Natur hautnah erleben. Der Weg vom Parkplatz zum Haus mit seinen 10 Höhenmetern übt gut :-) Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung. Es war alles sehr sauber und funktional.
