Nature house in Mirns

The nature house is a simple and tastefully decorated and has a rural location. The cottage is located in Mirns, a small ribbon village in beautiful Gaasterland, near the IJsselmeer. The cottage is located on a narrow strip of land in the middle of the meadows, about 100 meters from the road. There is a large and fine terrace which runs from the side of the cottage to behind the cottage and it borders a large lawn with a separation of trees at the back. At the front of the cottage there is room to park the car. The garden around the cottage is fenced. The nature house can accommodate five people. There is no TV and WIFI available. However, there is a DVD player and good DVDs.

Gaasterland is a region in southwestern Friesland. The gentle slopes, extensive deciduous forests and the view of the IJsselmeer make this a special piece of the Netherlands. Gaasterland has a lot of water, vast meadows, but also wooded banks, streams and even cliffs.Bird watching cabin the Mokkebank is about 1000 meters away and a nice walk. The Rijsterbos and the beach of the Mirnserklif is 1700 meters away. Walking or on a bike or from a horseback the area is wonderful to explore.
