The cabin has a kitchenette with two-burner gas stove, fridge, microwave oven, kettle, coffee maker, hot/cold running water, complete kitchen equipment, dining table / work table with two chairs, sofa, box bed with bed (140/200 centimeters) which includes DVD / CD equipment, internet connection, separate toilet and a shower in the winter remains lukewarm because the geyser is hanging outside, hanging / cupboard and loft for extra stuff, good working wood stove and electric heater. Large outdoor seating area with beautiful views and garden furniture CAUTION; duvets/pillows provided, but bed/bath/kitchen textiles to bring your own.

Located on the Berkel with many natural areas in the vicinity, such as the Haaksberger Veen, Witte Veen, Zwilbröcker Venn, Assinkbos, Buurser Zand. The cabin is located directly on a nature reserve with hiking/biking trails that give access to the quiet and unspoiled Achterhoek scenery. Nice towns and villages like Borculo, Geesteren, Gelselaar, Lochem, Vreden and Ammeloe (Germany) and a little further away Diepenheim, Ootmarsum and Bredevoort. Many beautiful water mills, such as at Eibergen, Haaksbergen, Winterswijk and Borculo, often with associated quality restaurant. 2 Restaurants at 1700m where one can walk along the water. Ideal for when one has a nip. On the property live barn owls, green/spotted woodpeckers, squirrels, bats and early in the morning with a bit of luck you can encounter deer and of course many other species of birds and mammals (a.o. kingfisher is sometimes seen). Public swimming/nature ponds within walking/biking distance. Bikes for rent from neighbors at500m.
