Nature house in Bellenaves

Enjoy the fantastic views and experience the peace and space of the French countryside in this former wine barn. Converted in 2010 into an attractively furnished nature house for four. A private garden overlooks rolling fields of rape, corn and sunflowers. In the orchard overlooking the forêt des Colettes you can relax after an active day and of course taste our fruit. The cottage has a living room with sitting area, dining area, a well-equipped open kitchen, bathroom and separate toilet. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with two comfortable single beds. It is located on the edge a hamlet about one kilometer from Bellenaves, where you will find a bakery, butcher, supermarket, restaurant and bar. Every Wednesday there is a market with regional products and in the summer months 'live' music and brocante.

Behind the orchard, an ancient path leads to a babbling brook below and less than 100 meters away begins the Forêt des Colettes which is home to deer, foxes, badgers, wild boars and many species of birds. The surrounding hilly landscape is varied with fields, meadows, hedges, hedgerows, forests and streams and the Sioule and Bouble rivers. From our grounds we have set out various walking and cycling routes. The altitude differences in the area are between 250 and 720 meters. There are beautiful castles and Romanesque churches to be found in the area. By car you can make trips in the wider area to cities such as Vichy, Moulins, Montluçon and Clermont-Ferrand. The same goes for the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans D'Auvergne with the Puy de Dôme as its striking centerpiece.
