The nature house is located near historic and lively Cluny. This house is on a quiet, non-through road. In 10 minutes you walk down the hill to the village below. The spacious house has a bright living room with beautiful views, a bedroom with double bed (180x200 centimeters), a new bathroom and downstairs a kitchen diner. The garden gives a lot of privacy and has a view of the hilly landscape so typical of this part of Burgundy. The house has several terraces, one of which is covered for very hot days. At dusk, from the garden you have a chance of seeing deer and a fox with young. The garden has a salt water swimming pool.
Nature and surroundings
The hilly landscape has many hiking and biking opportunities. In fifteen minutes you walk to a lake with an old water mill, nearby are several lakes where you can also swim. There is also a special arboretum. This part of Burgundy is rich in history, such as the old abbey of Cluny and the town of Tournus on the Saône, Many well-preserved Romanesque churches, some still with frescoes. The château of Cormatin with its beautiful gardens is worth visiting. Less than 20 kilometers away is the ecumenical community of Taizé. The rhythm of life of the community is based on daily prayer services. The brothers welcome young people from all over the world. Many artists, glassblowers, woodworkers and potters live and work in this region. Concerts are held in the summer months, in an old church or the abbey, near a chateau. A little further away is a Buddhist monastery where the residents are also happy to receive you.
