Nature house in Houffalize

For us, the nature house had everything we needed. It’s within walking distance of Vayamundo, so close to the start of the Lupulus Walk. Having a private bathroom in every room is definitely a plus.
There was more there than we expected: plenty of board games, plenty of dishes, ...

If you’re looking for luxury, you’re better off choosing a different nature house. This is a spacious nature house with all the basics.
We really appreciated that every room had its own bathroom with hot water for everyone—we consider that a luxury. We also loved the peace and quiet and the open space.

A great base for day trips.

Houffalize has a lot to offer: a tourist office, supermarkets, an ATM, various restaurants, bike rentals, a swimming pool, mini-golf, and more...

Voor ons voldeed het natuurhuisje aan alles. Op wandelafstand van Vayamundo, dus dicht bij de start van de Lupuluswalk. Elke kamer zijn eigen badkamer is zeker een troef.
Er was meer aanwezig dan we dachten: veel gezelschapsspelletjes, veel servies,...

Wie van luxe houdt, neemt beter een ander huisje. Dit is een groot natuurhuisje met alle basics aanwezig.
Dat elke kamer een eigen badkamer had met warm water voor iedereen, vonden wij heel aangenaam= aanzien wij als luxe. Daarnaast ook de rust en de ruimte.

Goede uitvalsbasis voor uitstappen.

In Houffalize heb je heel veel: toeristische dienst, supermarkten, bankautomaat, verschillende restaurants, fietsverhuur, zwembad, minigolf,...

Room 10: exceptionally quiet. Due to construction work at the end of the cul-de-sac. Since we went before the weekend, the construction didn’t bother us at all. So it was very quiet!

Space 9: Very large garden, next to a small river; the 5 bedrooms each have their own bathroom; a large table with plenty of room for everyone; 2 areas with seating. Only the kitchen is a bit on the small side.

Nature 9: A squirrel in the garden. I’m giving it a nine because you can’t walk straight into the woods from the cottage, for example. But there are walking trails nearby.

Rust 10: uitzonderlijk rustig. Door de werken= einde van doodlopende straat. Aangezien wij voor het weekend gingen, ook geen last van de werken. Dus heel rustig!

ruimte 9: heel grote tuin, aan riviertje, de 5 slaapkamers met eigen badkamer, een grote tafel met voldoende plaats voor iedereen, 2 ruimtes met zitplaats. Alleen de keuken valt dan wat kleiner uit.

Natuur 9: Eekhoorntje in de tuin. Ik geef het een negen omdat je niet onmiddellijk vanuit het huisje bv het bos kan inwandelen. Maar wel wandelingen dichtbij.

We had quite a lot of laundry while we were there with the kids and so on. In that case, a washing machine is definitely recommended. There isn't one in the house. However, there is a washing machine nearby in the village that we were able to use.

Wij hadden aardig veel was in de tijd dat we er waren met kinderen enz. Dan is een wasmachine wel een aanrader. Deze is niet aanwezig in het huis. In het dorp is dichtbij wel een wasmachine waar we ons mee gered hebben.

It was a really nice and beautiful house, and the surroundings were certainly lovely. There’s plenty to do in the area, and good food is within walking distance. The river running through the garden adds a special touch—the kids had a wonderful time playing and fishing in it. And it’s nice and quiet around the house; you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere, yet still close to everything.

Het was een zeer leuk en mooi huis en zekers een mooie omgeving . Veel te doen in de omgeving en goed eten op loop afstand . Ook de rivier door de tuin geeft wat extra s,de kinderen hebben er heerlijk in gespeeld en gevist . En lekker stil om het huis, je waant je alsof je in the middle of nowhere zit maar toch dichtbij alles .
