This nature house in the form of a Rustic French Roulotte is equipped with all modern conveniences. It is located in the village of Chatillon en Diois, at the foot of the Hautes Alpes, in the Vercors Natural Park, southern France. The cottage is located in the completely walled private garden that you share with the landlords and 1 other cottage (le cabanon). You enter via a small staircase and a covered balcony where you can sit in the evening to watch the stars. The living kitchen has two comfortable armchairs, a TV, table and a small, fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower cabin, toilet and sink. The bedroom has a spacious double bed with closet space. The cottage has two private terraces and is located in a spacious garden, where you can use the lovely pool.
Nature and surroundings
The quaint, medieval village of Châtillon-en-Diois is one kilometer from the cottage. There you will find a weekly market, convenient stores, fine dining restaurants and a post office. The larger town of 'Die' is 12 kilometers away. There you will find nice markets and wine tastings. Are you looking to cool off during the hot summer days? 10 minutes from the cottage is the Bez River, where you can swim. Canoeing and rafting can be done on the river Drôme.
