Nature house in Aarle-Rixtel
North Brabant, Netherlands
- 4 persons
- 1 bedroom

- Pets allowed
At this fine cottage in the Brabant countryside you are welcome to stay overnight and enjoy the peace and quiet. From the cottage and the garden you have a view of the donkey pasture and the countryside. The living room has a sitting area and an open kitchen (renewed 2022) with induction stove, dishwasher, Senseo and filter coffee maker, kettle, fridge with freezer, combi-oven, pans and other crockery. The bedroom has a double bed and a bunk bed in a niche with curtain and closet space. Heating by the cozy pellet stove. Bathroom with sink and walk-in shower. Separate toilet with hand basin. Private fenced garden, private driveway and free Wifi. Baby crib available on request. The chickens, cats and own dog run loose in the grounds, but shielded from the garden of the cottage. Fireworks: We get a lot of questions about New Year's Eve: Unfortunately, in the immediate vicinity there are fireworks. So, to our regret, we cannot guarantee a fireworks-free New Year's Eve.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is centrally located in the municipality of Laarbeek, in the outlying area between Aarle-Rixtel and Beek en Donk. A rural area with some farm houses and several nature reserves within cycling distance, such as De Grotelse Heide, De Stiphoutse bossen and Landgoed Croy. Numerous cycling and walking routes run through these areas. It is also possible to put together your own route through the cycling or walking route network. Some of these routes are just dozens of meters from the cottage. Also directly from the cottage you can make beautiful walks in a varied landscape. With a little luck and patience you will spot a roe deer, a fox, a hare, a great egret, a woodpecker, kingfisher or the rare partridge. In the vicinity is plenty to do and there are many opportunities for a fun day out. Helmond is five kilometers away and to Eindhoven with its vibrant Strijp-S is 15 kilometers.
