Een paar kussentjes voor het meubilair buiten zou een welkome aanvulling zijn in de zomer periode.

A fully and comfortably furnished home in a location that calls for just one thing: slowing down and relaxing. From the dining table and the spacious balcony, you can look out past the stream into a secluded part of the Ardennes. In addition to deer, foxes, hares, and a colorful array of songbirds and birds of prey (the “peregrine falcon factor”), we were treated to a visit from a little raccoon.

The kitchen is well-stocked, the bathroom facilities meet all your needs, and there’s plenty of seating on the terrace.

Be sure to take the time to explore the surrounding area thoroughly: we were struck by the ever-changing rolling landscape.

We communicated with the friendly owner online; he was very attentive and consistently kind.

For those seeking peace and quiet and time to spend together, this is an excellent choice.

Een compleet en comfortabel ingericht huis op een locatie die maar 1 ding vraagt: onthaasten en ontspannen. Vanaf de eettafel en het ruime balkon kijk je langs het beekje een beschut deel van de Ardennen in. Naast herten, vossen, hazen en een bonte verzameling zang en roofvogels (de wouw factor) werden we getrakteerd op een bezoek van een wasbeertje.

Keuken inventaris is dik in orde, sanitair voldoet aan alles wat je nodig hebt en op het terras zijn voldoende zitplekken.

Neem de tijd om ook de omgeving goed te doorkruisen: ons viel het steeds veranderende glooiende landschap op.

Contact met de vriendelijke eigenaar verliep online, maar zeer attent en steeds even vriendelijk.

Voor wie rust en tijd voor elkaar zoekt een meer dan goede keuze.

Before our stay and throughout, we had excellent and prompt communication with the attentive owner. And in Dutch, which we really appreciated.
The cottage was very clean, with great furniture and comfortable beds.
You can go on beautiful walks right from the cottage. There’s still so much to discover there that we’d love to come back again.

Voordien en tussendoor heel goed en snel contact met attente eigenaar. En in het Nederlands wat wij als bijzonder fijn ervaren.
Huisje heel schoon, prima meubilair, heerlijke bedden.
Vanuit het huisje kan je al mooie wandelingen maken. Er valt daar nog zoveel te ontdekken dat we heel graag nog eens terugkomen.

Nature at its purest!
Waking up to the sound of all the birds (big and small) in the area is a real treat. Even though we couldn’t always see them, we were still able to identify the birds we heard using the Merlin bird app.
Visits from roe deer, foxes, stone martens; the beautiful forest damselflies by the stream; and tracks from beavers or raccoons. There’s so much to experience there.
The scents of the forest, the beautiful hikes where you don’t run into a single soul—except for the “Forest Chicken,” or sulfur fungus. We definitely hope to return someday; we had a wonderful time!

Natuurbeleving op z'n puurst!
Wakker worden met alle vogels (groot en klein) in de buurt is al een feestje. Ook al konden we ze soms niet zien, mbv de vogel app Merlin wisten we toch welke vogel we hoorden.
Bezoek van reeën, vossen, steenmarter, bij het beekje de prachtige bosbeekjuffers, sporen van bevers of wasberen. Er valt ontzettend veel te beleven daar.
De geuren van het bos, de prachtige wandelingen waar je geen kip tegenkomt. Behalve de "Boskip", oftewel een zwavelzwam. We hopen er zeker nog eens terug te komen, we hebben heel erg genoten!
