The nature house was created from an old tobacco barn (séchoir a tabac) from around 1900. In 2015 and 2016, the barn was converted into a luxurious and generous vacation home of about 150 m2 of living space and a garden of about 3,000 m2. To obtain the necessary permits, it was appreciated to keep an even appearance. Where the tall windows are now located there used to be shutters that were opened for drying. The large barn doors have also been preserved for authenticity. With the exception of the shutters and glass doors at the rear, the entire barn is still there. On the ground floor is the hall with staircase, toilet and laundry room/utility room. The living room is divided into a dining area (beautiful open kitchen with loft) at the rear, a nice sitting room and television corner at the front. The floor is divided into three bedrooms, two bathrooms and two toilets. In 2018, the pool with cover was built.
Nature and surroundings
The open land at the back (about 3,000 m2) used to serve as a small vineyard. Attached to the house is now a large terrace where it is very pleasant already in spring and autumn. In summer you will be more likely to want to sit in the shade of the walnut tree. A swimming pool has been realized spring 2018, so you can fully enjoy a cooling dip! Space to play soccer, badminton or other games is plentiful but you can also choose to enjoy the view at the back of the property with a deck chair and a book. Furthermore, convenience is obviously chosen, therefore there is no lack of a washer, dryer, dishwasher, satellite TV with Dutch channels and free WIFI.
