The Naturehouse is located in the heart of the Las Villuercas Geopark, between Trujillo and Guadalupe. The area is one that has a great diversity of landscapes. The owners offer their rural house so that you can enjoy the most of what the area has to offer; there are both comfortable and functional studios, as well as whole houses that can accommodate up to five people. The complex is in a beautiful location in the Berzocana valley, with phenomenal views over the surrounding countryside and the village of Berzocana. Las Villercuas has a favorable location if you come from Madrid, and offers a great variety of landscapes, dehesas and reservoirs like Orellana, Valdecaballeros and Cijara or the National Park Monfragüe. Mérida and Cáceres are within an hour's drive, and Trujillo and Guadalupe are just around the corner. Extremadura is also famous for its bird population, which is as rich as the landscape consisting of both mountains and plains, dehesas, wetlands, rivers and reservoirs. Apart from the fact that there are many birds of prey in general, the dehesas are home not only to the black vulture and black stork, but also to the white crane and the great bustard!
