Nature house in Ferran

Domaine Maurel is very quietly located at the end of a cul-de-sac, with wide views of nature all around. Gîte A'muse has a ground floor living area with sitting area and open, modern, fully equipped kitchen and dining area. French doors give access to the south-facing terrace. Upstairs there is a spacious bedroom with a double and a single bed, followed by a modern bathroom with double sink, walk-in rain shower, toilet and towel dryer. An easily convertible sofa bed (no moving of bed linen etc.) offers additional sleeping space for 2 persons (children or young adults) in the living area. Air conditioning/heating available. Furthermore, wireless internet (WiFi) is available if desired. The nature house is completely non-smoking. Pets are not allowed.

The renovated 'Gîte A'muse' is the former wine picker's cottage that is part of a former wine estate with two gîtes ('Gîte B'loft', a loft, is on the other side of the building and has its own private terrace). Gîte A'muse is located at the end of a cul-de-sac with 360° views of the beautiful hilly countryside south to the Pyrenees, north to the Montagne Noir. It is located in Ferran, a small, very quiet village with ± 100 inhabitants in the heart of the Cathar region, less than half an hour drive from the city of Carcassonne with its medieval cité, a walled old town. Although extremely quiet, it is very easily accessible, just 15 kilometers from the freeway. In the near and wider surroundings, as an ideal change from the complete tranquility of the property itself, there is a very wide range of sporting & cultural activities, within acceptable driving distance of coast and mountains. During high season an above ground swimming pool is available.
