Nature house in Le Vigan

This natural house dates from the 12th century and is located in the middle of chestnut forests. Let yourself be overwhelmed by the beautiful nature. You can swim in the large swimming pool with sun terrace. The property consists of an idyllic wooded area of 1.5 hectares in the Cevennes National Park with a picturesque nature house. There is room for six people in the three bedrooms each with a double bed, sink, toilet and shower bath. On the grass terraces are several play areas. Available on site: Jeu de Boules and Vikingkub. Among the trees there are two hammocks for relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, a large stove with oven and a microwave. In the basement there is a washing machine and a dryer. For lovers of wild nature: observe deer, evers, foxes, badgers, vultures, birds of prey.... Too many to mention.

You are a two-hour drive from the Mediterranean Sea, but the best offers the region itself: caves, forests, mountains, ancient ruins, medieval towns and castles, gorges, natural phenomena such as Cirque de Navacelles, et cetera.... From the nature house itself you can make several beautiful walks. You can go hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, fishing, horseback riding, hang gliding and paragliding nearby. In winter, you are within half an hour at Mont Aigoual (1565 meters) in the snow!The following excursions are worthwhile: Millau (hang gliding and paragliding with a view of the huge long bridge that spans the valley), La Couvertoirade (a beautiful picturesque Templar town), Montdardier with its fairy-tale castle, Grotte des Démoiselles and other caves in the area (among the most beautiful in France), numerousmedieval towns, the bamboo gardens of Anduze (you can go there by an old steam train), the wonderful natural phenomenon Cirque de Navacelles and also Cirque du Diable, the medieval castles of Brissac, Laroque, Pégairolles and St-Jean des Buèges, the castle ruins at Montoulieu, cities of Nîmes and Montpellier (one hour away).All documentation is available in the cottage.
