Nature house in Laren Gld

This very highly rated nature house (9.3 average) is beautifully situated on a natural estate. Far away from crowds and traffic noise, in the middle of nature, completely dark at night. With almost everyone who comes here, the mouth falls open: "What a beautiful place, what a beautiful cottage". It was built by the landlords themselves from wood from the Achterhoek. The cottage is well insulated and wonderfully warm to fire with the wood stove. Rent includes firewood. There is a small but fully equipped kitchen, hot and cold water, shower and toilet and a cozy double bed. What there is not. There is no radio, no television, no pets and no smoking inside. There is live fire, there is WiFi. The cottage is located in a yard, a short distance from the landlords' house. Most guests do not experience this as disturbing (read the reviews), but if you are looking for 100% privacy, you should be elsewhere. Bring your own bed linen and towels. In the summer it is also nice to swim there. And otherwise in the nearby Berkel, where it is also mighty fine canoeing. Within walking distance is a large forest area, Het Groote Veld, and within cycling distance are the woods of the estates of Verwolde and Ampsen, as well as the Holterberg (about 15 kilometers). Cycle from here to Hanseatic city Zutphen along the canal and through woods and estates. You hardly encounter a cyclist, cars only the last bit before Zutphen. Charming Lochem is four kilometers from here. There are all the stores you need. The new MORE museum in Gorssel is easy to cycle to via a beautiful route.
