This nature house is located in the middle of meadows with forest in the background. There is a large garden with a beautiful view. In the meadow in front of the house walk two donkeys. In the forest begins immediately a walking route: the Ockhorstroute, the most beautiful detour of Gelderland. There is WiFi and it works well. The smallest town of Bronkhorst is only seven kilometers away. From Vorden, the Eight Castles Route can be cycled about 34 kilometers. A soccer field is also available.

The nature house adjoins a special estate, a succession of meadows and fields separated by wooded banks, groves and avenues. Places like Vorden, Zutphen and Doesburg are five, ten and fifteen kilometers away. In the vicinity are many opportunities for cycling and walking. In Ruurlo and Gorssel, Museum More can be visited. Museum Lalique in Doesburg and Kroller-Müller in the Veluwe are also worth a visit, as is the open-air museum in Arnhem. Furthermore, there is near us possibility to do geocaching.

The inventory was out of order. Too few glasses (also not clean). No coffee filter machine, but Senseo. Biggest disappointment was the shower which was renovated, but the water did not drain properly, so both the bathroom and the hall in front of it were soon flooded. Furthermore, the garden furniture did need replacing and we had to look for a parasol and fire basket ourselves (which was still full of garbage). By the way, there is no sauna, solarium, soccer table or soccer field available as stated in the description. We asked about this but were not responded to. This was a disappointment.Landlord response: Shower is nothing wrong with it but if the drain is clogged it's not going well.Facilities are there but I felt my privacy was violated enough!

Grootste tegenvaller was de douche die gerenoveerd is, maar waarvan het water niet goed wegstroomde, waardoor zowel de badkamer als de hal ervoor al snel blank stonden. Verder waren de tuinmeubels wel aan vervanging toe en moesten we zelf op zoek naar een parasol en vuurkorf (die nog vol afval stond). Overigens is er geen sauna, zonnebank, voetbaltafel of voetbalveld beschikbaar zoals wel in de omschrijving staat. Hier hebben wij naar gevraagd, maar is niet meer op gereageerd. Dit was een teleurstelling.
