This nature house is located on a property of about half a hectare in the outskirts of Vorden in the beautiful Achterhoek. The landlords themselves live in a small farmhouse on the property on the edge of nature reserve. The nature house belongs to the hamlet de Wildenborch, named after the castle of the Staring family, which lies on the border of Lochem and Vorden. Privacy, tranquility and coziness are appropriate terms for this nature house. The cottage is heated in winter with electric stoves and there is a small wood stove, which provides plenty of warmth and coziness. The cottage is simple and compact, attractively furnished with all the necessary amenities. The room cum kitchen, four by five meters, has a nice work/writing area by the window overlooking the garden. Next to it is the bedroom with a large double bed. Adjacent is the bathroom with sink, shower and toilet. There is a small porch facing southwest.

The grounds of this nature house border Het Grote Veld, a forest and heathland area in the Achterhoek managed by Natuurmonumenten; it is wonderfully quiet and peaceful. In the immediate vicinity there are endless walks and the castles Hackfort, De Wiersse, Medler and Vorden are within cycling distance. There are also estates in the area to visit, such as Den Bramel, Het Enzerinck and Wientjesvoort. One kilometer away is care farm and organic store Urtica de Vijfsprong. There, milk from the farm's own cows is processed into delicious dairy products. From the greenhouses and from the surrounding land comes a wide variety of vegetables that are sold in the store, along with a wide range of organic products. Vorden is five kilometers away and Lochem about ten kilometers. The nearest larger cities are Zutphen and Deventer, two beautiful old Hanseatic cities on the river IJssel.
