The nature house is a charming Perigourdine villa nestled in a private property of 16,000 m² located in the hamlet of la Salamonie in the heart of the Périgord noir. During your stay you will be able to enjoy daily the incredible tranquility and beauty of this exceptional environment! Completely isolated from the city center and neighbors, you will be able to relax in the private and heated pool after a busy day in this beautiful region to (re)discover. In the period November to May, the pool is out of use.
Nature and surroundings
The Périgord Noir is the most famous and beautiful part of the Dordogne with its many castles, caves and valleys. Périgord Noir, or Black Périgord, owes its name to the dark oak forests, which are abundant. The capital is the beautiful medieval town of Sarlat. A visit to Sarlat is a must for anyone visiting the Dordogne. It is a beautifully preserved medieval town, which has been fully restored. The valley of the Dordogne, stretching from Carlux to Siorac and Perigord. It is a valley where unspoiled nature is still well preserved. The river is particularly suitable for canoeing and swimming ; there are many beaches along the river. Along the river there is a beautiful bicycle route on the route of the former railroad line.
