Why not a 10: For someone who has trouble with stairs, the house and the beautiful garden aren’t very accessible.

Zeer mooi ingericht en volledig uitgerust vakantiehuis. Doordat de eigenaars er zelf veel tijd doorbrengen is werkelijk alles aanwezig. Je voelt de liefde waarmee het huis is gerenoveerd en ingericht.
Waarom geen 10: voor iemand die moeite heeft met trappen is het huis en de prachtige tuin niet handig.

The cottage is located on a very quiet street with a unique view of the Apache Valley. It’s a great starting point for beautiful hikes or bike rides.
The charming cottage, the authentic village, the interactions with the shepherd, neighbors, and owners… and the beautiful region all ensure that this spot guarantees a wonderful stay.

Huisje ligt in een erg rustige straat met uniek uitzicht op de vallei van de Apache. Goed vertrekpunt voor mooie wandelingen of fietstochten.
Het leuke huisje, het authentieke dorpje, de contacten met de schaapherder, buren, eigenaars … en de prachtige streek maken van dit adresje een garantie voor een fijn verblijf.

A lovely house, with genuine old-world French charm—it creaks and groans here and there.
The owner was easy to reach if we had any questions during our stay. Fiona’s jam, which was waiting for us upon arrival along with a note, made us feel right at home.

A lovely house in a quiet village. The house is spacious and tidy. The bathroom is indeed a bit small, but how often and for how long are you actually in there each day?
The side garden and rooftop terrace are amazing. That’s where we spent most of our time. The garden up the hill is AMAZING! The variety, the view… If it weren’t for my ankle injury, I would have spent more time there! In any case, you can spot and hear animals (like lizards) and birds all around the house.
The neighbors are friendly but not intrusive.
It’s a shame that the village is losing residents and that, for example, there isn’t a bakery. But the nearby supermarket is good.
The village is definitely worth a stroll, and you can also take a nice walk in the adjacent forest.
If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you.

Een heerlijk huis in een rustig dorp. Het huis is ruim en netjes. De badkamer is inderdaad wat klein, maar hoe vaak en hoe lang ben je daar nou op een dag?
De zijtuin en dakterras zijn geweldig. Daar hebben we het meest gebruik van gemaakt. De tuin heuvel op is GEWELDIG! De variëteit, het uitzicht… Het is dat ik een blessure aan mn enkel had anders was ik daar vaker te vinden geweest! Sowieso kun je om het huis heen overal wel beestjes (bijv. hagedissen) en vogels spotten en horen.
Buren zijn vriendelijk maar niet opdringerig.
Het is jammer dat het dorp een leegloop ervaart en dat er bijvoorbeeld geen bakkertje is. Maar de supermarkt in de buurt is goed.
Het dorp is zeker een wandelingetje waard en ook in het naastgelegen bos kun je een mooie wandeling maken.
Als je rust en ruimte zoekt zit je hier goed.

It almost never happens that we rent the same house for the second time, but this house is definitely worth it. It is charming and fully furnished and when you arrive there is a warm welcome. For us, the biggest attraction is the garden. There is something to see on every level and the higher you get, the more beautiful the view of the valley is. However, if you do not have good mobility, it is not a good option because there is climbing and scrambling involved both in the house ( stairs and elevation) and in the terraced garden.

Het komt bijna nooit voor dat we voor de tweede keer hetzelfde huis huren, maar dit huis is zeker de moeite waard. Het is charmant en volledig ingericht en als je aankomt is er een warm welkom. Voor ons heeft de tuin de grootste aantrekkingskracht. Er is op elk niveau wat te zien en hoe hoger je komt, des te mooier het uitzicht over het dal is. Echter, als je niet goed ter been bent, is het geen goede optie omdat er zowel in huis ( trappen en hoogteverschillen) als in de terrassentuin klim en klauterwerk aan te pas komt.

Completely quiet is nowhere but apart from the mowing sounds and very occasionally a fighter jet in this area you hear nothing but the buzzing of insects. It is very quiet. for the house is a street where about 2 times a day a car passes at snail's pace. From the house you can make beautiful walks.

Helemaal stil is het nergens maar behalve de maai geluiden en heel soms een straaljager komt het in deze omgeving voor dat je niets anders hoort dan het zoemen van de insecten. Het is er heerlijk rustig. voor het huis ligt een straatje waar ongeveer 2 keer per dag een auto in slakkentempo langs komt. Vanuit het huis kun je prachtige wandelingen maken.
