The cottage is located on a small intimate estate in the outskirts of Ruurlo. An idyllic piece of Gelderland on 6 acres of private land, surrounded by fruit trees and n huge garden. Away from the crowds, hidden in nature, 4 kilometers south of Ruurlo near the Van Heeckeren and Baakse Beek. The cottage adjoins the house of the owners, but offers lots of privacy. The cottage consists of a cozy living area, kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine and a separate toilet. From the kitchen and terrace you have a beautiful view of the large garden. CAUTION! Upstairs, the bedroom and bathroom (with 2nd toilet) is reached via a steep (!) Stairs. Downstairs is an extra folding bed. We are a quiet place (no children). Dogs are welcome, the garden is completely fenced! We have 2 large dogs that run loose. They are very social, but unfortunately not a good combination with (barking) small dogs.
Nature and surroundings
For lovers of nature and silence. Our small NSW estate is located in a green area and borders beautiful, mixed forest. In this countryside you will find the beautiful ash landscape with its slopes, steep edges and wooded banks. You can walk for a long time without meeting anyone. Beautiful in summer and winter! In autumn many species of mushrooms can be admired. The air is clean, the silence is filled only by natural sounds and at night you can see the stars without being disturbed by light from the surroundings. The deer from the forest make regular trips to the lands around this estate. Deer (especially at dawn and dusk), birds and hares can be spied from the garden. In this beautiful coulisse landscape of the Achterhoek, surrounded by forests, fields, streams and meadows, you will also find stately farms, castle Ruurlo, the Hanseatic cities of Zutphen and Doesburg and cozy villages!
