Nature house in Mazan

This nature house is located on a large property with many olive trees, truffle oaks, almond trees and Mediterranean plants, such as rosemary and thyme. The house is spacious and comfortably furnished, with an eye for atmosphere and details. Provence is known for its fantastic light and beautiful colors. The region has about 300 days of sunshine per year. The summer months are hot and dry, with the sound of the cigalles in the background. The other months of the year are also wonderful in this area. The nature house is fully equipped and beautifully decorated with sustainable materials. It has two modern, new bathrooms with rain shower and double sink. There are five double bedrooms. They are painted in the colors of the environment: lavender blue and sunflower yellow. The kitchen was recently renovated and very fully equipped, with a large gas stove and oven, many drawers, a good refrigerator and a dishwasher. The concrete countertop gives a natural look and offers plenty of space for great cooking. The sitting room has a fireplace. The dining room has a large table where many people can eat. The same goes for the covered terrace. In the garden there are over 25 olive trees, truffle oaks and firs. There is also a swimming pool in the garden!

The nature house is located about one kilometer from the village of Mazan, on the south side of Mont Ventoux. You can walk from the house through the vineyards to the village. There are many vineyards throughout the area, making the area beautifully bright green in summer and beautifully golden in autumn. Mont Ventoux is about 10 kilometers from the village. The mountain is of course famous among cyclists and from the Tour de France, but certainly also for its unspoiled nature. A great diversity of flora can be found on the mountain slopes. It is beautiful to walk on the flanks of the mountain, with the vast Rhone valley on one side and the snowy peaks of the Alps on the other. Not far from the cottage you will find the Gorges de la Nesque, a gorge with a winding road uphill. Beautiful for biking, but also for hiking. Colorful flowers can also be found there in all seasons.
