Nature house in Urshult

A traditional Swedish-style "stuga" with red wooden exterior walls and white windows. All bedrooms are equipped with a wardrobe, a small table, and a chair. The living room features a seating area and a dining area. There is a fireplace for cozy warmth. Books and games are available, and some are in Dutch. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric stove and oven, a refrigerator with freezer compartment, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee maker, a Senseo, a kettle, and plenty of cookware, cutlery, and dishes. The bathroom features a shower, sink, and toilet. You can dine outdoors or simply relax on the two terraces, one of which is covered and faces south, and the other on the west side of the house. In the spacious garden, you can enjoy the sun, and the children can play safely. The nature house and the entire property are smoke-free. Upon request, the owners can arrange for cleaning and linens.

This nature house is situated on a property of nearly six hectares (approx. 60,000 m²), where there are no other buildings apart from the owners’ home and a barn. Surrounding the cottage is a large, naturally sloping garden that is available for guests to use. The rest of the property consists mainly of forest, meadows, a vegetable garden, and an orchard with fruit trees and berry bushes. The cottage is located on an easily accessible gravel road (about three kilometers) that ends a short distance away. As a result, there is hardly any traffic. The nearest neighbor lives a few hundred meters away. You can walk to Lake Åsnen via a forest path of about 800 meters. The beach resort of Kärrasand is 3.5 kilometers away and offers good facilities, such as restrooms, changing rooms, a sunbathing area, and parking spaces. The region offers many recreational opportunities. On Åsnen, you can row, canoe, and fish. Swimming is possible at the many small and larger beach resorts. There are numerous short and longer hiking and biking trails. Yet civilization is never far away, as the center of Urshult is just eight kilometers away. There you’ll find a small supermarket, bakery, restaurant, pizzeria, and gas station. A health clinic and an independent auto repair shop are also available.
