Nature house in Urshult

We quickly felt at home. We received a warm welcome and got some great local tips and insights. You have plenty of privacy and space; at the same time, if you have any questions or need anything, they’re there for you.
As far as we’re concerned, the cottage strikes the perfect balance between simplicity and comfort—great Wi-Fi, but no dishwasher ;-).

We can’t really comment on the activities—we’re more into hiking and day trips, so we’re basing our assessment on what we’ve heard rather than personal experience.
During our stay, we saw ospreys (in five different spots), wild boars, buzzards, a moose calf crossing the road, and stunning views of lakes, birch forests, apple orchards, and local historic sites.

We voelden ons snel thuis. We zijn hartelijk ontvangen en hebben leuke lokale tips en insights gekregen. Je voelt voldoende privacy en ruimte ; tegelijkertijd als je wat wilt weten of nodig hebt, staan ze voor je klaar.
Het huisje is wat ons betreft perfect in balans tussen eenvoud en comfort wel perfecte wifi maar geen vaatwasser ;-).

Activiteiten kunnen we zelf minder beoordelen - we zijn zelf meer vsn wandelen en uitstapjes dus we beoordelen het op inzicht ipv ervaring.
Tijdens het verblijf hebben we visarend gezien (5x verschillende plekken), everzwijnen, buizerds, overstekend eland kalf en prachtige uitzichten op meren, berkenbossen, appelgaarden en lokale, historische omgevingen.

Quiet, charming, and in a great location near the Asnen Nature Reserve. Plenty of natural beauty accessible on foot from the cottage, and conveniently located near many well-known spots around the various nature reserves.
The cottage is neat; cozy, practical, and perfectly suited to its surroundings.
The deck/porch is a wonderful spot.
We experienced a variety of weather conditions over the course of a week, and the cottage is well-suited for any of them. There was firewood for the fireplace, mosquito screens, and a comfortable indoor climate.

Sigrid and Sandra are happy to share lots of interesting facts and experiences about Sweden and local customs if you ask them or are open to a chat. Another plus: it’s not required, and we enjoyed plenty of privacy and personal space.

Stil, leuk en goede ligging voor Asnen natuurreservaat. Genoeg natuurschoon vanaf het huisje te voet en gunstig gelegen voor veel bekende plekken rondom de diverse reservaten.
De stuga is netjes; gezellig, praktisch en helemaal passend bij de omgeving.
Het deck / veranda is een heerlijke plek.
In een week veel weertypes meegemaakt en het huije is overal voor geschikt. Er was hout voor openhaard, horren tegen muggen en fijn klimaat in het huisje.

Sigrid en Sandra kunnen veel vertellen, interessante weetjes en ervaringen delen over Zweden en de lokale praktijk als je er naar vraagt of openstaat voor een praatje. Ook fijn: het hoeft niet en wij ervaarde veel privacy en eigen ruimte.

A very neat, well-equipped cottage. No unnecessary luxuries, but everything you need is there, clean and in good working order. In short, it’s great! We really enjoyed our stay there and might come back again if we’re ever in Sweden.

Een zeer net, compleet huisje. Geen overbodige luxe, maar wel met alles aanwezig, schoon en functionerend. Kortom, dik in orde! Wij hebben er met veel plezier gelogeerd en komen wellicht nog eens terug als we weer in Zweden zijn.

A beautiful, peaceful setting surrounded by nature. Lots of quiet roads for biking and/or hiking. Plenty of water nearby for swimming, water sports, or fishing. We got lots of great tips from the owners. We weren’t able to try them all during our week there. We definitely enjoyed ourselves.

Prachtige natuurrijke en rustige omgeving. Veel rustige wegen om te fietsen en/of te wandelen. Water genoeg in de buurt te zwemmen, watersporten of vissen. Veel goede tips gekregen van de eigenaren. We hebben ze in onze week niet allemaal kunnen op volgen. Zeker genoten.

The cottage was cozy and equipped with everything. Very nice the porch, so you could always be outside and very comfortable were the screens at the door, in the kitchen, living room and bedrooms. Nice, hospitable hosts, who had great tips and information for trips and walks. From them also learned the game Kubb. It seems to me that the area is very suitable for all the activities listed below. We mainly walked and swam.

Het huisje was gezellig en van alles voorzien. Heel fijn de veranda, zodat je altijd buiten kon zijn en zeer comfortabel waren de horren bij de deur, in de keuken, woonkamer en slaapkamers. Gezellige, gastvrije verhuursters, die leuke tips en informatie voor uitstapjes en wandelingen hadden. Van hen ook het spel Kubb geleerd.

Mij lijkt, dat de omgeving voor alle onderstaande activiteiten zeer geschikt is.
Wij hebben vooral gewandeld en gezwommen.

It was beautiful there! Nice and quiet, spacious and green with beautiful woods and water. Seen several animals in the woods and garden!

Het was er prachtig! Lekker rustig, ruim en groen met mooie bossen en water.
Verschillende dieren gezien in het bos en de tuin!
