The characteristic building is located on the flank of the famous Ballon d'Alsace, at the end of a dead end road. In the middle of nature on two acres of private land. Children can wander the grounds, build huts in the forest, light fires or build dams in the stream. You are most welcome to stay in the spacious, cozy apartment. The owners have carefully converted the building into a comfortable place to stay, so of course there are good beds (made on arrival), a nice shower, a bathtub and a fully equipped kitchen. There are windows overlooking the mountainside and forest edge where you can see deer and foxes walking by. From the wide window seat you can enjoy the sunset. The hosts receive you personally and will be happy to inform you about the numerous possibilities in the area.

The nature house is located in the middle of Parc Naturel Régional des Ballons des Vosges, a vast central mountain range with hiking, cycling and other outdoor sports opportunities. For cyclists suitable for making altitude meters or participating in Les Trois Ballons. For hikers there is a huge hiking network with well-marked trails to be discovered, allowing you to fan out in all directions. For example, walk a section of the famous long-distance hiking trail GR5, over the crest of the mountains with great views to both sides. Nature is still unspoiled in many places. On the western side of the Vosges massif, the mountains are lovely, with rolling slopes and rounded peaks called "ballons. On the east side the mountains are rougher with sometimes exciting mountain paths.At the cottage is a generous set-up pool which you may use on your own responsibility. A five-minute drive away is an outdoor pool.A 20-minute drive away are recreational lakes and mountain lakes with sunbathing areas, beaches and clambering rocks.Also beautiful are the gardens of Wesserling, climbing in the Acropark, the Vitra House near Basel, Colmar, the autoroute on the Route des Crêtes, Belfort and the wine route in Alsace.
