The characteristic building is located on the flank of the famous Ballon d'Alsace, at the end of a dead end road. In the middle of nature on two acres of private land. Children can wander the grounds, build huts in the forest, light fires or build dams in the stream. You are most welcome to stay in the spacious, cozy apartment. The owners have carefully converted the building into a comfortable place to stay, so of course there are good beds (made on arrival), a nice shower, a bathtub and a fully equipped kitchen. There are windows overlooking the mountainside and forest edge where you can see deer and foxes walking by. From the wide window seat you can enjoy the sunset. The hosts receive you personally and will be happy to inform you about the numerous possibilities in the area.

The nature house is located in the middle of Parc Naturel Régional des Ballons des Vosges, a vast central mountain range with hiking, cycling and other outdoor sports opportunities. For cyclists suitable for making altitude meters or participating in Les Trois Ballons. For hikers there is a huge hiking network with well-marked trails to be discovered, allowing you to fan out in all directions. For example, walk a section of the famous long-distance hiking trail GR5, over the crest of the mountains with great views to both sides. Nature is still unspoiled in many places.
