It is a sitting/bedroom, suitable for two persons. The cottage has its own kitchenette, shower and toilet. There are also patio doors so you are immediately outside on the terrace and can enjoy the tranquility and space of the spacious garden.

In Groningen, between the Leekstermeer and the Lauwersmeer in the west of the province, lies a beautiful vacation area. A surprising area with two totally different landscape types. In the northern Westerkwartier begins the old Groninger dike landscape, which ends at the dike along the Lauwerszee. In between lie meadows and large arable areas, where, as a visitor, you will find beautiful vistas and the peace and space that people nowadays love to find. The area is rich in cultural-historical heritage such as mills, churches and monumental farms, often surrounded by a moat. In the southern Westerkwartier you will find a coulisse landscape. The lands are enclosed by tree walls, which contribute to a rural beauty. It is a beautiful area for cyclists and hikers. Southeast Friesland is not called "the other Friesland" for nothing. Forests, moors, peat colonies and noble mansions define the landscape. There are also several waters, such as the Tjonger and the Linde. Well-known nature reserves are the National Park Drents Friese Wold and the Fochteeloërveen.
