This nature house in Sarlande is part of a French farmhouse that has been transformed into a mini-campsite with two gîtes. The cottage is comfortably and attractively furnished and everything is provided, such as coffee/tea, washing-up liquid and kitchen and toilet paper. There are also towels waiting for you! It has a private terrace and a seat in the garden, so there is always a place to enjoy breakfast or a book in the sun or in the shade. It is free from the campsite and has its own parking. On the grounds of over three hectares there is also a beautiful fish pond with, among other things, beautiful carp, in which you can fish freely. There is also some playground equipment for the children and Liabaquet has a lovely swimming pool of 12 by 6 meters. In high season there is daily bread service and you can join the cozy table d'hôtes evening for a delicious three-course meal, the easy meal or delicious pizzas from our wood-fired pizza oven!
Nature and surroundings
In the village of Sarlande on the edge of the Parc naturel régional Périgord - Limouisin, the landlords of these nature houses in 2024 have found their dream spot. In the rolling green landscape of the Périgord Vert, in the north of the Dordogne, where forests and meadows alternate, the many Limousin cows and the small winding roads give you an immediate vacation feeling. The property of this nature house is characterized by space and its tranquility. During the day you are in the company of many birds and farm animals such as chickens, rabbits and a small flock of sheep. In the evening you can enjoy a beautiful sunset and a spectacular starry sky in which even the Milky Way can be seen! The area offers many possibilities, at short distances you can include hiking, mountain biking, canoeing and visit nice village and food markets, castles, caves a zoo and beautiful cities like Limoges and Périgueux. Whether you want to enjoy the tranquility or actively go out, it's all possible!
