Nature house in Anjum

At about one kilometer from the Lauwersmeer stands this national monumental farmhouse, located high on a mound. At this farm the old cowshed has been transformed into a luxurious and cozy nature house, suitable for four adults and one toddler.The nature house is fully equipped, including flat screen TV, DVD player, CD player, dishwasher and free WIFI. Sleeping can be done in the spacious box bed and in the room upstairs. An ideal starting point for a bike ride around the Lauwersmeer, a visit to the Eleven Cities, a day trip to a Wadden island, bird watching, mudflat hiking, Pieterburen, Fiskershûske museum or just doing nothing.

The nature house is a beautiful starting point for cycling tours through and around National Park the Lauwersmeer, a day at Schiermonnikoog, a boat trip on the Lauwersmeer, swimming or surfing at Oostmahorn. There are also several small museums nearby. A visit to one of the eleven Frisian cities, the picturesque town of Dokkum, should certainly not be missed. For culinary enthusiasts, there are several top restaurants nearby, where much use is made of local products.
