The spacious terrace of this nature house connects to the sunbathing area. With its eco-roof and wooden exterior cladding, the nature house blends completely with nature. Nature and surroundings
The nature house is a five-minute walk from Scherpenheuvel center and the basilica where heaven touches earth. It is located in parkland, about six kilometers from the triprovincial point where Brabant, Antwerp and Limburg reach out to each other at the abbey of Averbode. It is an excellent base for exploring the hilly Hageland, the flat Merode area and the Zuiderkempen. A historically important and fascinating environment with forests, fields, heath and fens and numerous heritage sites. The nature house is located next to a former railroad bed that was reconstructed into a walking and cycling path. The hiking and cycling network Flanders knots in the backyard. At the horizon, the abbey of Averbode hovers above the green horizon. Silence and nature will accompany you to relax completely.
