Nature house in Bouniagues

The nature house, which formerly served as a wine-picking farm, was built of traditional materials, with a white-painted, wooden ceiling. The thick natural stone walls, plastered on the inside, provide a pleasant indoor climate in the hot summer months. The modern kitchen goes well with the 1960s vintage furniture in the living area. In the bedroom, sleeping in a four-poster bed with mosquito net is delightful. The cottage is located in the Périgord Pourpre, amid forests, fields and vineyards, 12 kilometers south of Bergerac, six kilometers from Monbazillac and 10 kilometers from the Bastide of Issigeac. In the land of good wine and gastronomy, of bastides, caves and castles, with varied and unforgettable landscapes. During clear nights, enjoy incredible starry skies.

The nature house is located at the end of a small country road. There is hardly any traffic, at most a tractor and walkers. The cottage is surrounded by vineyards and fields. There is a very large garden with no neighbors. Behind the house are vast forests in which it is wonderful to walk. There is a wide assortment of wildlife to be seen in the woods and fields behind: deer (chevrieul), owls, buzzards, hoopoe, hares.... There are many walks to do. There is a whole system of "boucles" rings, walks marked by posts. Plans are available in the cottage.
