Nature house in Saint Laurent des Arbres

Very attractive Provencal nature house with a large pool. The nature house is in the middle of the forest located between the famous vineyards of Tavel, Lirac and Château neuf-du-Pape, ideally located about 20 kilometers from Avignon and Orange. The house is warm and tastefully decorated with all the desired modern comforts, a modern well-equipped kitchen, opening onto a very bright dining room with panoramic views over the gardens and terraces. The 12 x 5 pool is the same depth throughout, about 1.40 meters of water. It is completely fenced for the safety of the children. The whole nature house is surrounded by several terraces, there is always a place where you can sit in the sun or in the shade. The terrain of almost 7000 m², is not fenced. The surrounding forest is a protected area. There are a few other houses nearby, but there is absolutely no view of the property, so you have complete privacy. It is a very quiet neighborhood, with no street lights, so at night you can admire the beautiful Provencal starry sky. The pool is filled from mid-June to September. Off-season inquiries can be made for the pool.

The vacation home is in the middle of an area with mostly "garrigues," which is usually a fairly low vegetation of forest oaks, junipers and arbousiers. This area, however, is an exception; it is mostly covered with large green oaks, some pine trees, and furthermore some juniper trees and arbousiers. It is a little lower than the surrounding vineyards of Tavel and Lirac, known for its unusual soil strewn with boulders. From the nature house, it's easy to take delightful walks or get out and about by bike. For day trips, the landlord recommends the Mont Ventoux, for example, or canoeing in the Ardêche. You can also go from here to the Mediterranean Sea, for example to Saintes Maries de la Mer, to a very special nature reserve the 'Concluses', or the Cascades de Sautadet. That mainly for the 'nature outings'. But the region also has much to offer culturally. Many historical monuments from the time of the Ancient Greeks and Romans, beautiful well-preserved villages, including Saint Laurent des Arbres, at a distance of over one kilometer!
