The location is ideal for visiting monumental cities such as Trujillo and Guadalupe, as well as ornithological sites, such as the Monfragüe National Park, La Serena, Las Villuercas, etc. The owners invite you to discover the area around the house. Las Villuercas has good connections from Madrid, offers a wealth of landscapes and is centrally located to the dehesas and reservoirs of Orellana, Valdecaballeros and Cíjara or the National Park of Monfragüe. Mérida and Cáceres are an hour's drive away, and Trujillo and Guadalupe are around the corner. Extremadura has a very diverse bird population, as does its landscape: mountains, plains, wetlands, rivers, reservoirs and dehesas. The area has the richest population of raptors, and the dehesas are home not only to black vultures and black storks, but also to cranes and bustards!
