Pure relaxation at the Paterswoldsemeer! Very special location, quiet and right on the lake, cycling and sailing distance from Groningen. The nature house is located in the middle of nature on a sheltered plot of 1600 m². Here you can swim, sail, fish and enjoy nature and water. In the area you can make beautiful walks and bike trips. The cottage has all modern facilities (dishwasher, oven, washing machine) and three bedrooms. Furthermore, the cottage has a cozy wood stove. The parking lot is 800 meters away, about an eight-minute walk along a shell path. A wagon is available to bring things to the nature house.

From the moment you arrive at the nature house, you are overcome by a sense of freedom. Whether you are enjoying sailing, picnicking on one of the many islands, exploring the beautiful forests on the many hiking trails or bike paths, or soaking up the sun at one of the cozy restaurants; the Paterswoldsemeer offers all the space you need to do your own thing. The lake is part of the Meerschap Paterswolde and is connected to the Hoornsemeer. The total area, of about 900 hectares includes: lakes, forests, islands, beaches, hiking trails, bicycle paths, recreational facilities, catering establishments and water sports facilities. Through a lock, the Paterswoldsemeer is also connected to the Noord-Willemskanaal and you can sail across the water to the city of Groningen. The real Groningers all know it, the Hoornse plas. This lake is separated from the Paterswoldsemeer by a dam. This also makes the lake ideal for recreation. If you are a lover of fishing, the Paterswoldsemeer is also the place to be. You can go fishing on the shore. Or you can rent a boat and let your float and equipment do the work in the middle of the water. The lake contains pike, bream, roach and eel, among others.
