We really enjoyed this house, the garden, the surroundings, and Darja as our host.
The house has everything you need for a carefree two-week vacation.
The garden is truly enormous—much bigger than it looked to us in the photos—and it offers plenty of nice spots to sit. There are more than enough chairs and hammocks to relax in, the river is wonderful for floating in, and there are sooooo many figs :)
The surrounding area offers fun activities, including a tree-top adventure course, canoeing, a volcanic lake, a Velorail, city trips, and much more. But you really don’t have to do something every day. We were able to truly unwind.
Darja is a truly wonderful host. She’s very helpful, kind, and always thinks of your needs. We couldn’t have asked for a better host.

De tuin is echt enorm, veel groter dan het voor ons op de foto’s leek en het biedt vele leuke plekjes om te zitten. Er zijn ruim voldoende stoelen en hangmatten om te chillen, de rivier is heerlijk om in te dobberen en er zijn heeeel veeeel vijgen :)
De omgeving biedt leuke activiteiten, waaronder een klimbos, kanoën, een vulkaanmeer, een velorails, stedentripjes, en nog veel meer. Maar je hoeft echt niet elke dag iets te doen. Wij zijn lekker tot rust gekomen.
Darja is echt een heel fijne host. Ze is erg behulpzaam, lief en denkt met je mee. We konden ons geen betere host wensen.

We had a wonderful time in the cottage and enjoyed the beautiful place. The river flows right through your backyard and you can swim, play and canoe in it. The garden is also spacious and well maintained-you have more than enough places to relax. The cottage was traditional and cool inside. We especially liked the upstairs with the spacious bedrooms. We were sorry to leave and would love to come back!
