Welcome to the beautiful region of Périgord, the Dordogne department. This is a beautiful nature house on 7000 m² of land, where you can enjoy the peace, nature, environment, gastronomy and mild climate. The nature house is in a child-friendly, quiet area on the edge of the village halfway up the hill, five minutes' walk from stores, restaurant, public swimming pool with paddling pool and fishing pond. The nature house offers you the cosiness of a small authentic village, close to the locals. The nature house is entirely at your disposal and there are no residents or other tenants on the premises. You can also rent the nature house to spend the winter with temperatures sometimes up to 18 degrees. Please note that the TV does not receive channels, only DVDs can be played. Different arrival days are possible outside the high season by arrangement. This nature house can also be booked with six people under house code 30292.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is located in the Dordogne, which offers something for everyone, for example a thousand castles spread over 575 communities. A journey of prehistory, medieval towns, castles, bastides and churches, along rivers and by lakes. From gastronomic delights to just good food. Canoeing or kayaking, horseback riding, fishing, cycling, hiking, golfing, hot air ballooning or going to a falconry show. Each village has its own festival with music, fireworks and tournaments in which everyone can participate. Enjoy nature, where you will be surprised by the wild animals: deer, rabbits, but also foxes and badgers. But you can also visit the unique gardens. Dripstone caves or caves with unique murals from prehistoric times. Culinary: the cuisine of the Périgord offers all kinds of traditional dishes made with products that grow here. The local products are: duck dishes (confit and magret de canard), omelettes (with porcini mushrooms and truffles, among others), the salads with nut oil, the truffles and not to forget the wines. The sweet chestnut is used in numerous regional dishes. There are several restaurants in the immediate area with reasonable prices.

M.E. July 29, 2017 General rating:Superhuis! Wij waren er met een groep van 4 volwassenen en 6 kinderen van 8-16 jaar, in de eerste twee weken van augustus en we hebben het heerlijk gehad!
Het huis en zeker de tuin is groot genoeg om rust te zoeken terwijl de kinderen op twee terrassen tegelijk aan het spelen zijn. Het dorp vlakbij is heerlijk om 's morgens even naar de bakker te lopen en 's avonds nog een biertje te drinken op het terras van het Café de Commerce. Eenmaal per week is er 's avonds de marché gourmande waar je gezellig aan kunt schuiven bij de locale bevolking (en veel toeristen) voor een lekker dinertje met een glaasje wijn of fris. Ook dat is heerlijk om zo dichtbij te hebben.
De kinderen kunnen zelf naar het gemeentelijke zwembad aan de overkant van de provinciale weg lopen, goed om even af te koelen en wat energie kwijt te raken. Soms hadden we het zwembad geheel voor onszelf (soms was het ook wat drukker).
Het huis is gezellig ingericht, biedt voldoende mogelijkheden om bij een buitje een spelletje te doen of een potje kleuren voor volwassenen te beoefenen.
Het is in één woord: heerlijk!
Als er iets is wat wij zouden móéten verbeteren, dan zou het de vaatwasser zijn...hoewel het eigenlijk toch wel heel gezellig was om in wisselende samenstelling even ouderwets handmatig voor een schone vaat te zorgen.
Aanrader voor gezinnen. Aanrader voor rustzoekers. En voor die laatste groep: de drukte van de Dordogne, Belvès en dergelijke is vlakbij en die kan je naar behoefte opzoeken!Nature, peace & environment:Vlakbij het huisje, als je afdaalt naar het rugbyveld in het dal, begint een rural gebied met wat bos en boerderijen, heerlijk om te wandelen en te genieten van de vogels en eekhoorns. Iets verder weg natuurlijk de grote rivieren zoals de Dordogne met prachtige mogelijkheden als kano of zwemmen om daarvan te genieten. En op 5-10 km van het huis grote bossen en heuvelachtig gebied waar wij als ervaren wandelaars van konden genieten.
