This nature house is on an attractive, small-scale vacation park with ten nature houses managed by Dutch owners. So here you can experience the real nature house feeling with more than enough privacy but if desired with the facilities of a small Domaine. A surprising vacation park in the surprising Auvergne. On the four-hectare estate are an authentic maison de maître and 10 spacious nature houses/chalets (63 m²) with a beautiful view from the large terraces. The 10 luxuriously furnished chalets offer a spacious living space for up to five people. The chalets have comfortable box-spring beds. Furthermore, there is a spacious living room, open kitchen with large dining table, two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower cabin, washbasin area and separate toilet with hand basin. The large adjoining terrace (accessible through two French doors) and a spacious, natural garden offering lots of privacy, make you feel right at home and also one with nature! From the terrace you have a beautiful view over the green hilly surroundings. The terrace has two beautiful garden sets with four chairs each and two sun loungers.

There is plenty to do in the area surrounding this nature house! There are many hiking and biking opportunities, places of interest, markets and nice towns. Suitable for everyone; families with children, but also for couples and groups of cyclists, hikers, friends, etc. The Auvergne ranks sixth in the top ten of Lonely Planet (the world's largest publisher of vacation and travel guides) of the most beautiful and most worth visiting regions in the world. Both the volcanic area around the Puy-de Dome are mentioned as well as the natural park Livradois-Forez where our vacation park is located in the center! So this nature house is located in the beautiful region of Auvergne, on the border of the departments Puy-de Dome and Haute-Loire. This part hosts two major natural parks, the "Parc des Volcans" and the "Livradois-Forez". L'Etoile Dore is located in a valley on a plateau of the latter natural park in the south of Auvergne. Because the park is situated on a plateau of 700 meters, you can enjoy beautiful views of up to 40 kilometers from anywhere. The area is characterized by hills and mountains up to 1100 meters, meadows, forests, rivers, streams, beautiful villages and interesting towns. Another nice thing is that you will not find mass tourism here. The area is still relatively undiscovered and houses many pearls and natural treasures. All sights and activities can be reached within 30-45 minutes: unlimited hiking and biking, waterfalls, volcanoes, lakes and rivers, castles, climbing forest parks, canoeing and rafting, quarry with amathysts, working paper mill etc. So for everyone there is surprisingly much to discover and experience. You can do all the sports and/or activities you want here or just do nothing and enjoy peace, quiet and nature. Away from all the daily hustle and bustle.
