Nature house in beyssac

Detached nature house with a large garden and access to the adjacent orchard, which features a swimming pool, playground equipment, and a sandbox, as well as badminton, table tennis, a trampoline, and hammocks. There is a petanque court in front of the house. Suitable for nine people, with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. In addition to the indoor dining table, there is also a covered outdoor dining area with a barbecue. Located as the last house in a small village on a very quiet road with parking right outside the door and the entrance to the woods on the other side of the road. Dogs welcome. The owners live next door to the villa and are always available for information; there are also two smaller gites on the same property.

The Corrèze region is very forested and hilly—it’s wonderful for biking, but there are some real calf-burners! The nature house is located on the edge of a forest, with a south-facing garden and orchard and an unobstructed view of the woods and meadows dotted with Limousin cows. In the forest, the owners have marked out several hiking trails; there’s a small lake and the “Canal des Moines,” a 13th-century canal built by monks from the Carthusian monastery La Chartreuse du Glandier, located at the foot of the hill.  In the surrounding area, you’ll find charming medieval towns such as Uzerche, St. Robert, and the beautiful Ségur-le-Château. For shopping, Brive, Limoges, and Périgueux are good choices. You can go kayaking on the Vézère River, where you can also swim, as well as at Lac du Poncharal, a swimming lake with a sandy beach located 10 kilometers away. Other fun activities include a tree-climbing park, go-karting in Lubersac, or fishing in Ségur-le-Château. Last but not least—and highly recommended—are the food markets: these are evening markets with stalls full of local products such as bread, wine, meat, fish, fruits, and vegetables, which you can enjoy at long tables. There are large barbecues, live music, and a fantastic atmosphere. They take place every weekday in July and August in various charming towns in our immediate vicinity.
