Nature house in Ter Apel

This nature house can be booked from two to 10 people It is simply, spacious and comfortably furnished. On the ground floor you will find the large living/dining/sitting room and the (open) kitchen with all the trimmings. There is TV and WiFi. Upstairs are three large bedrooms, one with double bed and crib, one with two single beds and one with six beds including two bunk beds. The various rooms are spacious, characterfully decorated. The spacious bathroom with shower cabin, toilet and bathtub also has its own character. On this monumental farm with seven acres of land, located on the edge of the forest , in the yard of the nature houses can enjoy a large garden with a private seating area and plenty of space for children. There is also a trampoline. (Own risk)An orchard decorates the garden. We ourselves have two dogs, Friesian horses and a peacock. Here you can still experience the silence, see the swallows fluttering around and if you're lucky meet a deer.

Along the farm run the Noaberpad (long-distance walking route), a horseback riding and driving route, (junction) cycling routes and a mountain bike route. Near the nature house are several fishing opportunities, including trout / sturgeon pond De Slegge. Also several swimming places, such as open air pool Moekes Gat, sand pit Selingerbeetse and just across the border in Germany Schloss Dankern. Ter Apel is within walking distance of Germany and the province of Drenthe. The beautiful forests of Ter Apel, Sellingen and the nature reserve Bargerveen provide a beautiful and varied cycling, hiking and horseback riding landscape. Besides the beautiful nature, there is also a lot to experience for young and old in terms of culture: the monastery in Ter Apel, the fortress Bourtange, Wonderwereld (Ter Apel), Kabouterland (Exloo), Wildlands Adventure Zoo in Emmen, Plopsaland in Coevorden, Joytime Grolloo (outdoor climbing park), shopping, entertainment and more. In short, this area is a great base to explore Groningen, Drenthe and Germany.
