Nature, peace & environment:Super nice place, view of beautiful garden with many birds in the garden and good place to explore the beautiful Groningen countryside (Lauwersmeer is half an hour by car). We came by bike from Groningen (avoid the route right through Hoogkerk, but go up through Den Horn, among other places) and occasionally took the train or Greenwheels in Zuidhorn (small half hour bike ride through Enumatil and beautiful bike path through the country afterwards). Only downside is the noise from the A7 nearby, but in the house that's not too bad.

Den Horn) en hebben af en toe de trein of Greenwheels in Zuidhorn gepakt (klein halfuurtje fietsen door Enumatil en mooi fietspaadje door het land daarna).
