This ruralhut is located in Le Marche, central Italy. It is a cosy little farmhouse that has been transformed with a lot of style by a British interior designer. The ruralhut is located on the edge of an intimate little village of eight houses with friendly and helpful Italian neighbours and a British neighbour. It is about three kilometres from the village of Sarnano, where you arrive in five minutes by car. The house is built against a rock. You enter the house on the top floor via the spacious dining kitchen. Further in the building you will find the spacious living room which is openly connected to the hall. Kitchen, living room and hall are thus openly connected and accessible by small stairs. Through the hallway, fairly steep stone stairs lead to the lower floor with two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a door that gives direct access to a terrace. The second terrace is also accessible via a staircase. The windows of the two bedrooms are fitted with shutters that you can leave open or closed. The house has many stairs and the terrain around our house is quite unveven. That makes it all fun, but you have to be a good walker. From the terraces you have magnificent views of the hills, villages and the Sibillini Mountains. So enjoy a delicious glass of cool, white Verdicchio wine, a cappuccino or espresso and endlessly enjoy the nature around you.

Nature and surroundings

In the surroundings, the tops of the Sibillini mountain range feature fantastic opportunities for hiking, cycling, mountain biking, paragliding and swimming in various lakes, including Lago di Fiastra. One of the hiking and cycling routes, Arancione Number six, walks on the side of the ruralhut and is available, so you can start with a strenuous walk of about 19 kilometres right away. Beautiful walks a little further away in the Sibillini Mountains are a must for every hiker. Among others, Golla di Infernaccia (the devil's gap) is highly recommended. To the east lies the Adriatic Sea. Around 50 minutes driving by car from the ruralhut you will find the most beautiful beaches! A day of wellness and relaxation? Then the Terme di Sarnano cannot remain unnamed. Sarnano has natural resources and the thermal baths provide relaxation and refreshment. A magnificent natural phenomenon is the Il Piano Grande plateau at about 1535 metres altitude in the Sibillini Mountains. Especially at the end of June / early July it is worthwhile, because that is when the lentil fields are flourishing. It will look magnificent! In short, a wonderful environment to celebrate a holiday and fully relax!
