Nature house in Engreux

This ruralhut is on a dead end street on the edge of the village of Engreux near Houffalize. It is quietly located on a large 5000 m² forest area and the house is cozy furnished. On the ground floor you enter a spacious hallway with plenty of space for jackets, hiking boots and shoes. There is a large living room with dining area, seating area and reading corner. In the living room, next to the central heating, there are two wood burning stoves that can burn at the same time. Next to the living room there is a compact but well-equipped kitchen. Further on the ground floor there are two bedrooms, a spacious bathroom (corner bath and shower cubicle) and a toilet. On the upper floor there is a large vide with book wall (also a nice playground for children) and there are two more bedrooms. The house is furnished for up to eight people, but by the layout of bedrooms on the ground floor it is also a nice stay for fewer people. Next to the living room (via sliding doors) there is a covered porch with fireplace / barbecue. Around the house there is a garden with a wood burning fireplace. The house offers a lot of privacy and a wonderful playground for children. The rental rates for this ruralhut are based on four people. For the village of Engreux there is only one way to reach (and to leave) the village. The other roads in the village all run through the surrounding forests. This offers the opportunity to walk directly from the house into the nature. An hour, but also a walk of about five hours around the confluence of the Ourthe river is possible. There is a mountain bike trail through the village. For sports there are the following possibilities: in the winter cross country skiing (Bertogne and Samrée) and skiing / cross country skiing / sledding in the nearby ski region of Belgium, Baraque de Fraiture. In summer canoeing, fishing, abseiling, swimming and golf (Durbuy, Spa, Clervaux). If you do not like sporty activities, you can also just relax in the garden, read, listen to music or chat by the fireplace inside or outside. The village itself is small: a church, a few houses and a cafe for a simple meal. There is a supermarket at a 10 minute drive in Engreux. For shopping there are the cities of Bastogne (War Museum), Clervaux, La Roche and Ardennes and Durbuy. The Knauf shopping center just over the Luxembourg border has many nice shops.
