Nature house in Càlig

Vacation on a Spanish finca (4500 m²), you can in this nature house between olive groves and citrus trees. The spacious house offers plenty of privacy. The roof terrace on the second floor is everyone's favorite, you can lounge in the hammocks, when it's hot this is the coolest place. The large kitchen is fully equipped. In the kitchen cabinets there is tea and spices etc. There is a utility room with a large dining table and a closet with many games and books. The house has screens everywhere and mosquito curtains. When it gets cooler, the fireplace can be lit. we also have central heating. On the side of the house is a large terrace where you can sit comfortably. If it gets too hot, step under the outdoor shower, hidden among bamboo. The finca is completely fenced and on the outer edges we are still doing maintenance (pruning trees and bushes). The finca is located on farmland, in very hot weather and a certain wind direction you can smell the scent of the turkey farm.

On the finca you can relax, close to nature. In the village (about 2000 inhabitants) you will find a swimming pool, bars, bakeries and in August a week full of entertainment: fiestas patronales with bulls, dancing and fireworks. The sea is 12 kilometers away and not yet so touristy busy. The landlord can give you good tips about hidden places by the sea. The promenade has recently been beautifully renovated. Here you will find many beach bars on the sandy beach. The center of Vinarós is nice: trendy stores, ice cream stores and a covered market with the fresh fish. There is also plenty of entertainment in the evening with, in summer, movies in the square or yoga on the beach. The Costa Azahar (Orange Blossom coast) is still relatively quiet. The Ebro Delta is wonderfully beautiful, the coves near the coast of Vinarós offering privacy. The Serra d'Irta nature reserve is there for hikers and mountain bikers. Peñiscola is well worth a visit with Papa Luna castle; bird shows in the castle garden and classical concerts in the knight's hall. Cute streets, market stalls, tapas and more. From Peñiscola you can take a boat trip to Les Columbretes nature reserve. Further south are Castellon and Valencia. The hinterland is there for refreshment: La Senia has a reservoir and natural beauty can be found at Benifassà.
