Very nice nature house built in 2009 and fully equipped. The cottage is located on a so-called wheel small water on the dike. You walk from the cottage up the dike and have a beautiful view over the river Waal. The first floor consists of a hall, bathroom, living room with kitchen and a bedroom with bunk beds. In the hall you take the stairs to the second floor. The second floor occupies half of the house with open loft through which you look into the living room. There is a double bed on the second floor. The kitchen contains a combi-oven, ceramic hob with four burners, kettle and a Senseo coffee machine. There is also a spacious garden around it with a soccer goal. During the stay you can always contact the hosts by phone or by going to the residence. The cottage is located in the beautiful surroundings of the Betuwe. Bath linen and kitchen linen are provided. Dogs and other pets and partying is not allowed.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located on the Struinroute of the Waal, for the route check the Rivierenland website and search for Struinroute Dodewaard-Beuningen and directly on a Klompenpad Hiensepad. There are several restaurants in the area. Also, you can quickly get to the cities of Arnhem, Nijmegen and Tiel. Landgoed Loenen and Hemmen are both about four to five kilometers away. Bicycles can be rented nearby. The pond in front of the house can sometimes become empty during extreme drought, which is why there are not many fish in it.
