Nature house in GUASO

This nature house was rebuilt on the ancient vaults of the original house on the village square of Guaso, located at an altitude of 715 m. The traditional-style house has all modern comforts with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The living area gives access to a beautiful private terrace on the south side, through the basement you reach the fenced garden. Guaso enjoys a very mild and dry climate with high summer temperatures and hardly any snowfall in winter. For supplies, banks and restaurants you can go to Aínsa and Boltaña. Guaso itself is very large, yet its nine neighborhoods contain a total of barely 120 inhabitants, typical of this sparsely populated region called Sobrarbe. In Guaso there are no stores, only the bar La Cuadra opposite casa Solano in the square is a welcome place to relax after an exertion.

From different points in Guaso you have constantly changing panoramas: in the north the massif of Monte Perdido (3355 meters) and closer to it the mountain range Peña Montañesa (2300 meters), in the south the reliefs of the Sierra de Guara. The three most famous natural areas of Huesca are next to each other here, As a new visitor to this region you will first want to see the parks, you will go on mountain hikes and stand on peaks to admire this wild nature in all its facets. Gradually you will discover the immediate surroundings of the cottage and appreciate the richness there too. Birds that are rare elsewhere in Europe will daily cross your path here. Besides the red kite and the short-toed eagle, you will also find larger birds of prey such as vulture, griffon vulture and bearded vulture, as well as many smaller species. You will discover plants exclusively found in the Pyrenees and look for rare orchids such as the lady's slipper and the bee orchid.
