This nature house is located on an island in the middle of a lake in National Park Alde Feanen! Because the plot is surrounded almost all around by water, the house can only be reached by boat. In the harbor, at the end of the village you first park your car on one of the two reserved parking spaces. Then the adventure begins, because in the harbor the rowing/motorboat is waiting for you. This will take you to the island in five minutes. So this place is ideal for people who seek nature, peace, space, water and privacy. There are plenty of opportunities for water sports: there are two sailboats, four kayaks and a rowing/motorboat at the house. In consultation, another 12-person luxury sloop can be rented if necessary. The large garden has several private jetties, around the house is a wooden terrace and on several other terraces you will find wooden garden furniture with cushions, a lounge set, sun beds and umbrellas. The house itself offers every comfort (which for an island is not so obvious) such as 220 volts, mains water,sewage, natural gas, hot air heating, hot water heater, music system andWIFI. The house was recently renovated, is cozy and comfortably furnished and equipped with all comforts to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Really everything is thought. Bed, bath and kitchen linen are plentiful. In addition, there are bathrobes and beach towels that you can use during your stay. The owners ensure that the beds are made upon arrival and the towels are ready. All this gives a feeling of well-being and comfort, as it should be in a vacation! For example, in the kitchen you will find new Miele appliances, such as a hot air / microwave oven and a dishwasher, as well as an ice cream maker and a beer tender. The nature house is located in the heart of Friesland, in the triangle between Leeuwarden, Heerenveen, Drachten and near the village of Earnewâld (Eernewoude), a traditionally famous water sports town. The house is uniquely situated on the corner of an island in the Sânemar (Sand Lake), in the middle of nature reserve National Park Alde Feanen, which is in direct connection with the Frisian Lakes. This makes it easy to sail to Grou, Sneek or Leeuwarden. The Alde Feanen is a nearly 4,000-hectare area of low moorland swamp. It is a very varied landscape consisting of lakes, peat ponds, ditches, reed beds, marsh forests, quaking fens and marsh marshes. More than 450 plant species can be found in the area. Because of its location and variation, De Alde Feanen is enormously important for water, marsh and meadow birds. In the summer half-year many birds breed there. More than 100 species have been observed so far. The wetland is an indispensable stopping place for numerous migrants and winter visitors. Stork outpost It Eibertshiem is also located within the area. De Alde Feanen has had the status of 'National Park' since 2006, making it the twentieth National Park in the Netherlands and also the last. National parks in the Netherlands are the most important natural areas that continue to exist in their present state.
