Nature house in Montfermier

This nature house has a surface area of 71 m2. In front of the house is a terrace with an overgrown pergola. From here you can enjoy a magnificent view over the valley. Next to the house there is a large BBQ. Next to the entrance on the left is a spacious kitchen with all amenities such as gas stove, microwave, coffee maker, cutlery, kitchen utensils and fridge / freezer. In the cozy living room there is a 3-seater and 2-seater sofa. In the living room there is also a closet containing all kinds of games from checkers to monopoly. In spring, when the evenings are a bit chilly, you can light the fireplace. There are three double bedrooms. If necessary, a crib can be placed in the bedroom. In the middle of summer, because of the 60-centimeter thick walls, the bedrooms are cool. There is a spacious bathroom of 11 square meters with shower, toilet, sink and bidet. This cottage is equipped with a washing machine, ironing board and iron. This nature house has internet connection and digital television.

Montfermier is a picturesque village in the sunny south of France located in the rolling part of the Tarn et Garonne. The village has 111 inhabitants and consists of 90% farmers. They grow garlic, melons and kiwis. The famous plum, the Reine Claude also comes from here. On a small scale, they grow some grapes, mostly for their own consumption. The people are very friendly and hospitable and still have time for a chat. You can make beautiful walks. There are two beautiful marked hiking trails, through the melon and sunflower fields, directly from the nature house. The cottages are located 50 meters from the church of Montfermier on a generous plot of 8,000 m2 planted with fruit trees. In the grounds are a large barn and other old buildings including a pigeonnier (dovecote) worth seeing. The house is a former farm and is built against a slope, therefore the entrance is at street level. Since the owners live near the vacation homes, they can advise and assist you. They speak Dutch, of course, but also a little French, German and English.
