We were warmly welcomed by the landlady and the shared meal was a good idea as it made it easy to connect with the other guests. The cottage itself felt a bit stuffy inside (too small downstairs area and somewhat dark), nice and cool though. However, we lived mostly outside. The outdoor kitchen was nicely set up, a nice spot, a bit in the back, offering more privacy than the larger apartment.
The landlady is a definite lady, cordial, connecting, always helpful to give tips, and sometimes a bit too outspoken, tending toward the coercive. For people who find it difficult to set their limits, the ideal (learning) vacation destination :) The downside, however, was that we were guided to beautiful and delicious addresses that we would never have discovered on our own. The location is remote, so it was quiet, but you also have to be prepared to take your car for everything. If you really want to be alone and not make contacts, this place is probably less suitable.

We werden hartelijk ontvangen door de verhuurster en de gezamenlijke maaltijd was een goed idee omdat daardoor de verbinding met de andere gasten vlot tot stand kwam. Het huisje zelf voelde wat benauwd aan van binnen (te kleine benedenruimte en wat donker), wel lekker koel. We leefden echter veelal buiten. De buitenkeuken was fijn ingericht, een leuke plek, een beetje achterin gelegen, meer privacy biedend dan het groter appartement.
De verhuurster is een duidelijk aanwezige dame, hartelijk, verbindend, altijd behulpzaam om tips te geven, en soms wat te uitgesproken, naar het dwingend neigend. Voor mensen die het moeilijk hebben om hun grenzen aan te geven, de ideale (leer)vakantiebestemming :)
De keerzijde was echter dat we naar mooie en lekker adresjes geloodst werden, die we zelfstandig nooit ontdekt zouden hebben.
De locatie is afgelegen, waardoor het rustig was, maar je moet ook bereid zijn om voor alles je auto te nemen.
Wil je echt alleen zijn en geen contacten aanknopen, is deze plek wellicht minder geschikt.

Perfect, beautiful location, tranquility, space, nice little pool for cooling. Beds could perhaps be a little better.

Perfect, prachtig gelegen, rust, ruimte, lekker zwembadje voor verkoeling. Bedden zouden wellicht iets beter kunnen.

Beautiful surroundings and beautifully located. Location is very quiet, spacious and offers beautiful views of the surroundings. We have seen foxes and wild boar and many species of birds, Nearby is also a beautiful nature reserve with swamp and very bird rich.

Prachtige omgeving en schitterend gelegen. Locatie is heel rustig, ruim opgezet en biedt een mooi uitzicht over de omgeving. We hebben vossen en wilde zwijnen gezien en vele soorten vogels, In de omgeving is ook een mooi natuurgebied met moeras en zeer vogelrijk.
