Nature house in Uzzano

The cottage was nicely furnished. But quite dusty and with cobwebs. Under the bed it smelled like old cat pee, which was not so great. Lots of mosquitoes too,

Das Häuschen war schön eingerichtet. Aber recht staubig u mit Spinnweben. Unter dem Bett roch es nach alter Katzen-Pipi, das war nicht so toll. Viele Mücken außerdem,

Nature was great, lots of birds, lots of butterflies. Only the valley with car traffic is sometimes very noisy!

Natur war toll, viele Vögel, viele Schmetterlinge. Nur das Tal mit Autoverkehr hört man teilweise stark!

This is the cottage that made us most happy and where we lived with a great feeling of happiness. The cottage is simple and yes you walk through the donkeys to the cottage, but this is exactly what we love and made us happy. It is authentic, simple, clean and sympathetic. It was everything we needed to unwind and feel rich. The beds were good and the kitchen was nice to cook in. The atmosphere at The Happy Donkeys is welcoming and friendly. The Saturday night dinner gives everyone a chance to land nicely and the hostess gives great tips for a special stay.

Dit is het huisje waar we het meest vrolijk van werden en waar we met een groot geluksgevoel hebben gewoond. Het huisje is eenvoudig en ja je loopt via de ezels naar het huisje, maar dit is precies waar wij van houden en gelukkig van worden. Het is authentiek, eenvoudig, schoon en sympathiek. Het was alles wat we nodig hadden om tot rust te komen en ons rijk te voelen. De bedden waren goed en de keuken was fijn om in te koken. De sfeer bij De Blije Ezels is welkom en vriendelijk. Het zaterdagavond diner geeft iedereen de kans om fijn te landen en de gastvrouw geeft geweldige tips voor een bijzonder verblijf.

Once in Uzzano you continue up the mountain from the long driveway you land in The Happy Donkey feeling. The view is great of the valley and the friendly reception lands you soft. Nice guests, a free feeling. When you're looking for luxury, this is the place to be. However, when you are looking for an authentic warm place, I highly recommend it.

Eenmaal in Uzzano ga je verder de berg op vanaf de lange oprit land je in Het Blije Ezel gevoel. Het uitzicht is geweldig op het dal en de vriendelijke ontvangst laat je zacht landen. Leuke gasten, een vrij gevoel. Wanneer je op zoek bent naar luxe, dan is dit de plaats waar je moet zijn. Wanneer je echter op zoek bent naar een authentieke warme plek, dan kan ik het van harte aanbevelen.

The cottage & furniture consists almost exclusively of (aka recycled) wood, rustic & basic.The deck outside is amazing ! With a beautiful view. The nonolet (eco toilet) takes some getting used to.... The location is nice (private & shady) but quite a climb to the shower and the rest vd "facilities".

Het huisje & meubilair bestaat vrijwel alleen maar uit (oa gerecycled) hout, rustiek & basic.
Het deck buiten is geweldig ! Met een prachtig uitzicht. De nonolet (eco-wc) is even wennen... De ligging is fijn (privé & schaduwrijk) maar wel een hele klim naar de douche en de rest vd "faciliteiten".

There was a lot of greenery there, with lots of variety of flowers, trees and animals (including wildlife). "Controlled wilderness" . I even saw fireflies for the first time !

Er was er veel groen, met veel variatie in bloemen, bomen en dieren (ook wildlife). "Gecontroleerde verwildering" . Ik heb zelfs voor het eerst vuurvliegjes gezien !
