Grandpré is located 55 kilometers south of Sedan in northern France on a wooded 25-hectare property in the immense forest of the Argonne (the most beautiful nature reserve in northern France). Here you are staying in the French Ardennes just about 60 kilometers from the Belgian border. Distance from Brussels about 225 kilometers, but very easy to drive and easily accessible. The castle domain is an ideal base for the beautiful nature reserve of the Argonne; the battlefield of Verdun (45 kilometers away) and the first vineyards of Champagne-Ardennes. The terrace of the nature house overlooks the pond and the property. It is completely facing south so you can enjoy the sun all day. Several hiking trails leave near the castle. The area is excellent for both mountain bikers and racing cyclists.
