This luxury nature house is located on a small country road in the Auvergne countryside. The house is quietly located among forests and meadows with its Charolais cows in the Pays des Combrailles region. The house can accommodate two to four adults and two children. The cottage has a large, unheated private pool with a covered outdoor terrace. From the house you can walk onto the terrace and next to the house are several hiking trails to the woods. The cottage has two spacious bedrooms with two double beds and a large loft. On the ground floor is a large living room with open kitchen and a large, luxurious bathroom with whirlpool. Five minutes away you will find the first bakery, 10 minutes from the cottage all stores and amenities are available and within 20 minutes you are in the medieval city of Montluçon. The nature house is for rent per week all year round and is equipped with wireless internet.
Nature and surroundings
Even in the autumn this nature house is wonderfully comfortable and you can enjoy long walks through the beautiful nature and in the cold months you can use the large fireplace. The nature house is located near the Gorges de la Sioule and the Gorges du Cher. For hikers and nature lovers a true Eldorado. A varied landscape of hills and valleys with many undiscovered cart tracks and sandy paths. You can wander the sandy paths for hours without meeting anyone. In front of the cottage runs a hiking trail that ends in the village of Montaigut en Combrailles. This village still has a bakery, garage with gas station, a pizzeria called Le Dauphin and a small kiosk. Nearby, in the village of Lapeyrouse (10 kilometers) you will find a beautiful natural swimming lake with a small snack bar and the restaurant Les Bruges. A little further away you can visit the Gorges de la Sioule, a gorge through which the river Sioule flows and where you can take a beautiful canoe trip and visit the castle of Chouvigny. In Montaigut (three kilometers) there is a fishing lake where you can fish for carp and 20 minutes away is the village of Neris les Bains, a spa village with a wellness center and nice terraces.
