Then feel welcome in this Norwegian nature house, a traditionally built wooden house completed in 2010, fully designed and furnished for six people. The nature house is tastefully and completely furnished, with all the comforts you could wish for. A spacious living room, open dining kitchen, large terrace with part covered, bathroom + sauna, three bedrooms (one master bedroom with balcony and two smaller bedrooms), toilet + sink upstairs, storage room and lovely sitting areas in and around the house. You also have access to a canoe and trampoline. There is a large piece of land around the house including a large fireplace and plenty of space to enjoy the weather and nature!
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located on a peninsula (Storodde) in beautiful Vravatn, in the sunny province of Telemark in southern Norway. In summer you can enjoy plenty of hiking, golfing, horseback riding, swimming, fishing, canoeing or sailing. In winter there are plenty of winter sports opportunities in the immediate vicinity: skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing or just along on the sleigh ride. On private property you pick blueberries, cranberries and raspberries. Deer, badgers, foxes and other wildlife regularly visit your terrace at sunset, and if you want, you can go on a beaver or moose safari. During the day enjoy a good book on the sunny porch and in the evening look into the flames of the fire inside or outside. In short, vacation at its best, in any season of the year! Michel December 27, 2025 General rating:Super cottage, very comfortable, cozy and homey. Everything is there, you hardly need to bring extra things. Contact with the owner is also perfect. Of course you may encounter mouse droppings, but a house without a mouse is not a house ;). There is also enough done by the owner to counteract it. We have no problems with that at all, if you are in nature you have nature close to your house. In short, a super cottage! We would go there again!
Super huisje, heel comfortabel, gezellig en huiselijk ingericht. Van alles is aanwezig, je hoeft haast geen extra zaken mee te nemen. Contact met de eigenaar is ook perfect. Uiteraard kan je muizenkeuteltjes tegen komen, maar een huis zonder muis is geen huis ;). Er is ook genoeg door de eigenaar aan gedaan om het tegen te gaan. Wij hebben daar helemaal geen problemen mee, als je in de natuur bent dan heb je ook de natuur dicht/in je huis.

Mooie locatie, uitzicht over het meer en voldoende afstand tot de andere huisjes voor privacy. Omgeving is erg mooi, helaas hadden wij weinig sneeuw maar dat was geen probleem aangezien we puur voor de rust en de omgeving kwamen.
Voor wintersport is dit wel een goede locatie gezien de skipistes in de buurt. Zorg wel voor goede winterbanden en sneeuwkettingen/sokken! Bereikbaarheid kan een dingetje zijn zonder goede voorbereiding. In de zomer is dit vast ook een superlocatie, een mooi terras/veranda, deels overdekt. In de winter komt de zon overigens niet bij het huisje, deze blijft achter de berg steken, in de zomer heb je zeker geen last van.This text is automatically translated. -
