Escape to the tranquility of the High Fens in this charming nature house in the picturesque village of Longfaye. Located on the edge of vast nature, this cozy house offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Surrounded by a spacious garden of no less than 850 m², you will enjoy complete privacy here. From the spacious bright living room you can step onto the large terrace, where you can enjoy the sun all day long. There are 3 bedrooms, a nice bathroom and a separate toilet. Only three kilometers away you will find an excellent bakery, even on Sundays, for fresh delicacies. The picturesque town of Malmedy is just nine kilometers away, where you will find all the necessary amenities, cozy cafes and delicious restaurants. There are also numerous good restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
Nature and surroundings
From the cottage you walk within two minutes in the vast, very varied forests where you can make beautiful walks (through the forest to Malmedy, for example) or mountain biking. The Cascade du Bayehon is beautiful and very close by. There are many marked hikes of varying lengths and difficulty. But a pair of good walking shoes are handy.... In winter, cross-country skiing is possible from several places in the immediate area. The chance that you are going to meet someone in the forest is quite small. The nature reserve The High Fens (Baraque Michel, Mont Rigi) is nearby (10 minutes by car). Lake Robertville is about 15 minutes away by car, here you can row, among other things. The forest is different every season and always beautiful, for the enthusiast it never gets boring! In the immediate vicinity there are many nice towns to visit. Besides Malmedy are also Spa, Stavelot, Monschau, Verviers, the waterfalls of Coo and, a little further away, Luxembourg worth visiting. In the cottage there is plenty of information about all kinds of activities.
