This castle is located on private grounds with a fishing pond. The castle has 13 rooms with a total capacity of up to 36 people. This property is ideal for larger groups and celebrations (weddings), as it features two banquet halls. But of course, it can also be used for a relaxing vacation with friends and family. A third room features a pool table and a bar. The large kitchen is equipped with everything needed to cook for large groups. There are seven bathrooms, two of which have bathtubs and five with showers. Each room has its own sink. Only one group is allowed on the property at a time. This nature house is a castle and is located in a beautiful nature reserve near the village of Grandpré. Grandpré is located 55 kilometers south of Sedan in northern France on a 25-hectare wooded property in the vast Argonne Forest (the most beautiful nature reserve in northern France). You’ll be staying here in the French Ardennes, just about 60 kilometers from the Belgian border. The distance from Brussels is about 225 kilometers, but the drive is very smooth and the location is easily accessible. The castle estate serves as an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Argonne nature reserve, the Battle of Verdun site (45 kilometers away), and the first vineyards of the Champagne-Ardennes region. From the terrace, you’ll have a view of the large fishing pond. Several hiking trails start right near the castle. The surrounding area is excellent for both mountain bikers and road cyclists.
